Amateur Radio Station

My name is Wasmir Robeves and QTH is Baguio City, Philippines. I am an ECE graduate of SLU in 1979. I started working in Texas Intruments (Phil) Inc. in April 21, 1980.

My equipment is a Kenwood TS130S HF, Icoms 2GAT and 2SAT for voice and packet, and an old XT Computer for packet operations.

I do join the nightly DU-Net in the 40m (7.045MHZ) at 7:30PM and also active in the packet. My address is DU2BBH@4F2AL.NOLUZ.PHL.OC.

I'm currently the Vice President of our local amateur radio club, DX2TI. I have a very nice "wallsign" which I copied somewhere in the newsgroup (rec.radio.amateur.misc) and slightly modified it to suit my station. You may copy it too.

Meet my family (picture taken on January 14, 1996):
(from left) Giancarlo at 8.5 years old; my wife, Debbie at 36; me and my youngest, Iris Desiree at 2; and my eldest, Crisanta Monica who is turning 14 this June 21st.

Crisanta Monica (or Kricha) is in 2nd High School and Giancarlo is now Grade IV at the SLU LES. Iris just turned 2 last Feb. 21, 1996. Debbie, quit working in PLDT last December 1995 to give full attention to her family.

We just moved to our new house in Lot 13 Block 3 Woodsville Subdivision (just along Kennon Road in Camp 7) last March 3, 1996. My house is not finished yet BUT..."a house is not a home without my antenna"!!!
